Binance Account Security: A Practical Beginner Checklist
A plain-language checklist for securing a Binance account before you deposit funds or explore trading features.

Use a unique password
Create a long password that is not reused on email, social media or another exchange. A password manager can make this easier to maintain.
Turn on stronger sign-in controls
Review two-factor authentication, withdrawal protections, device approvals and anti-phishing settings. Treat unexpected login or withdrawal messages as a warning.
Slow down when something feels urgent
Scammers often create pressure with fake support accounts, giveaway claims or requests to move funds. Use the official app or type the official domain yourself instead of following an unknown link.
