Separate reward from total return
A token reward can have a changing market value. The value of the assets locked, the reward token and any fees all affect the final result.
Read the product terms
Check whether funds are flexible or locked, how redemption works, which assets qualify and what happens if the product or campaign changes.
Treat promotional rates as temporary
A high displayed annualised rate may be limited by time, capacity or eligibility. Never use borrowed money or money needed for essentials to chase a promotion.
