Compare seller history, completion rate, limits, payment method and price. A higher ranking does not remove the need to verify the details yourself.
Keep the process on-platform
Use the platform order flow and keep messages in the record. Do not release assets because of a screenshot or a promise that payment is on the way.
Confirm before release
Check the actual payment account and settled amount. Escalate a dispute through the platform instead of moving the conversation to an unknown channel.
