Receiving Tokens in a Binance Wallet: Address and Network Checks
Use the original visual guide to check the asset, network, address and memo before sharing a receiving address.
Choose the asset and network first
Confirm the exact token you expect to receive and check which network the sender will use. A matching token symbol is not enough when networks or contract addresses differ.
Share only the right address
Copy the receiving address from the verified wallet screen, compare its beginning and ending characters, and provide a memo or tag when the destination requires one. Never share recovery words or a private key.
Confirm the transfer after it is sent
Ask the sender to confirm the network and transaction hash, then check the transaction on the appropriate block explorer or inside the wallet. Do not treat a screenshot as proof of settlement.
Start small when the route is new
A small test transfer can reveal a wrong network, missing memo or unsupported asset before a larger amount is sent. Blockchain transfers are usually difficult to reverse.
