Match the asset and network
Confirm the exact token and make sure the receiving platform or wallet supports the same network. Similar network names or token symbols do not guarantee compatibility, and some destinations also require a memo or tag.
Check the address and amount
Use a trusted source for the destination address, compare its beginning and ending characters, and watch for clipboard replacement. Enter the amount only after the destination is verified, keeping enough native token to pay the displayed network fee.
Review before signing
Read the confirmation screen rather than relying on the previous page. Check the token, network, destination, amount, fee and estimated arrival details. A small test transfer is sensible when the address or route is new.
Record the result
After the transaction is broadcast, keep the transaction hash, time, network and destination label. On-chain transfers are usually difficult to reverse, so contact verified support promptly if the status is unclear and never pay a stranger to recover a transfer.
