Understanding Volatility: A Clearer Way to Think About Price Moves
A falling price does not automatically mean an investment is broken, just as a rising price does not automatically mean it is safe.
Movement is information, not a verdict
Volatility tells you that prices are changing. It does not, by itself, explain whether the underlying idea is stronger or weaker.
Separate price from thesis
Ask whether the reason for owning an asset has changed, rather than reacting to every candle or headline.
